Welcome to the Mellor Society Website.
The site has been relaunched in March 2009 and now contains the Newsletter content in full and we will also archive old copies of the newsletter as each new edition is produced. The current issue, Number 50 - Summer 2010 can be found here. This site will also contain additional material and the society welcomes submissions for inclusion from anyone with a Mellor connection on any subject that may be of interest.
Moorend Conservation Area
Following residents concerns regarding the status of the Moorend Conservation Area SMBC has arranged two drop-in sessions at the Mellor Parish Centre on Church Road, Mellor. The sessions will be on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd September between 3.30 and 7.30 pm to address any outstanding concerns.

A successful conclusion to a long standing problem has been reached for the unadopted roads of Parkside Lane and Old Hall Lane , read the story here.
